On your first day you'll be exhausted from traveling, so sleep in, and then head to the beach for lunch, have a frozen strawberry daquiri and enjoy the view. After you flake on the beach for a day or so, you're going to want to get out and play. Aqua Action Dive Center can teach you to dive or take experienced divers out for boat or shore dives. When you get tired of eating at your hotel, it's time for you to hang with the locals at XO Bistro, a great bar and restaurant in Red Hook. Well-stocked bar, delicious food, and great staff. For white-tablecloth dining, Romano's is a must-visit. The food is wonderful and the service is perfect. Tony Romano is the chef, owner and artist, and his he and his family have created one of my favorite restaurants. You can enjoy his paintings while your enjoy your dinner. Mahogany Run Grille, at the golf course, is another favorite spot for locals. Great food and service with both indoor and outdoor dining.
